Where you come in

The Role

We look after the utilities and council tax accounts for each of our properties, and with thousands of tenants across our units, that creates a lot of administration. That's where you come in. In this role, you'll set-up and manage over 3000 utility accounts, liaising with 3rd party suppliers, our internal teams and tenants to ensure to Account accuracy.  It's a fast-paced team, and you'll sometimes need to use your initiative to resolve tricky queries with our range of utility providers. You'll need the ability to multi-task and work under pressure, to strict deadlines, but most important of all is to be highly organised and with good attention to detail.

What will you be doing?

  • Setting up Utility accounts for our portfolio of units.

  • Ensuring our CRM system is correctly updated with any changes to enable accurate billing by colleagues in the accounts team

  • Liasing with Utility companies, tenants and local authorities to manage accounts.

  • Supporting Utility administrators with complex issues and complaints

  • Dealing with our tenants by phone and email to resolve issues

Job requirements


Ideally you'll have/be:

  • Excellent communication skills including confidence, for example to be assertive to prevent a utility from disconnecting a tenant

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems

  • Strong problem-solving skills and an adaptive approach to interacting with different stakeholders

  • Excellent administrative and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple accounts, and work effectively under pressure

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
